Miss NB plans out many activities for us. She is right in saying that we should get out and do things in the warm(er) weather. Today we went to the Arnold Arboretum at her suggestion.
"How come we haven't come here before?" she asked. Well lots of people used to get mugged here is the answer.
N thought that the sign indicating a "Pollination Party" was fresh. She would think that. We grabbed a map at the entrance of the arboretum and pretty much walked all its paths before it became overcast with thunder once again.
The trees are lovely and I especially like the textures of the bark. Some of the bark looks like lace knitting to me and that illustrates my one track mind. I wanted to see flowers but was reminded that arboretum connotes trees.
In every photo taken of Dad, he has a halo surrounding his head. It is uncanny but we know that he is called St. J around these parts for a reason and here we have proof. The photos of me remind me that I will once again spend a summer of successive bad hair days. We left the dogs at home and had a nice outing.
