We planned a nice run for today and were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately we awoke to another rainy, overcast day and scrapped our plans. Oh well.

Instead Miss NB and I went out to lunch at Legal Seafood where we were delighted with the luncheon menu. Legal is a very happening place in the afternoon and it is nice to have both space and company for dining. I ordered baked scrod which is local fish and it was delicious. Our waiter was overly fawning, and so much so that I had to stop answering his questions or even looking at him. Miss NB can be more polite in that domain so she handled the interactions.
After months of horrendously noisy construction, our neighbors are planting some large trees and shrubs to separate our properties. "Good fences make good neighbors" to quote Frost. Still again being who I am, I scrawled this message on an invitation to a party from the neighbors as I was departing for work.
