Making Sense

I was driving to Ben Franklin today to, of course, look at fabrics and crafts material.  I am bursting at the seams with fabric, yarn, and items for my group but it doesn't hurt to look.  I like going to the store because of its old fashioned appeal and the wide variety of its inventory.  The people who work at the store still possess the fine art of small talk.

NPR is my station of choice though on Sundays there are often church services which I don't pretend to care about or understand.  The show which is linked above almost got shut off because I thought it would be more of the same.  Yet the introduction of the woman who would be interviewed caught my interest.

The interview is worth listening to, I think, as Adele Diamond's point of view as a neuroscientist  makes perfect sense.  I was heartened to hear that she trained at the 'vard and emerged as a humble, thoughtful person.  NB might do well there too.
