JGN knows that I have been pretty much obsessed with this movie recently. I even downloaded it from iTunes yesterday and watched it on my computer while in bed. I am certain that I will watch it again soon because I am captivated by how this period piece (1960) still reflects how people act toward one another. Jack Lemmon is brilliant in this movie.
While others go out to watch high tech, 3 D movies I show my age by preferring a black and white movie with a moral message.
This viral illness that I have is miserable, with musculoskeletal aches being its very worst feature. Perhaps this is what the kids were describing when they said their hands hurt. Still, if I am able, I'll drag myself to work tomorrow. What goes around, comes around...
Boston public schools were cancelled today due to the lovely accumulation of snow we have. Therefore, there was no after school program and no knitting club. That worked out for me.
Don't flowers look beautiful and impossible at this time of year?
